AWE welcomes all ages and faiths to a service that emphasizes community, personal experience, and mission-driven interaction and practice. AWE services are firmly grounded in Christianity and Presbyterianism while often featuring references and readings from a wide variety of religions, including Judaism and Buddhism, as well as practices such as guided meditation.
AWE is led by Market Square Associate Pastor Kelly Wiant and organized by a planning committee that meets monthly to set service themes and select readings, music, and worship activities.
AWE services are offered every other Sunday evening at 6 p.m. with most taking place in Geneva Hall and followed by a shared meal. Dates for the 2011-12 season:
January 15 and 29,
February 12 and 26,
March 11 and 25,
April 8 and 22,
May 6 and 20.
