REFORMED READERS BOOK LIST FOR Winter/Spring 2012 announced. The February 15 selection is: The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism, by Timothy Keller.
Timothy Keller, the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, addresses the frequent doubts that skeptics and nonbelievers bring to religion. Using literature, philosophy, anthropology, pop culture, and intellectual reasons,
Keller explains how the belief in a Christian God, is, in fact, a sound and rational one. He offers a solid platform on which to stand against the backlash toward religion spawned by the Age of Skepticism.
Meet in the church library at 7 p.m. on February 15 to join in discussing this latest REFORMED READERS selection.
PICK UP YOUR 2012 MISSION YEARBOOK for 2012 in the Atrium. 365 entries, one for each day of the year, to guide your daily prayer, along with lectionary readings for each day.
