A Note About Bistro

We must bring Bistro to a close after more than 30 years of success as a fund-raiser for Christian Churches United’s HELP Ministries. Since the beginning of this unique event more than 30 years ago which helped bring together the congregation for what many expressed as the real beginning of Advent, Bistro has evolved gradually to become an heroic effort by fewer people, especially with the necessary changes required by Covid 19. A dignified retirement has been discussed every few years.  Our annual gift of the proceeds from Bistro has varied between $5,000 and $7,000, but it has been more than just a source of funds as part of our community mission outreach. Bistro has been a unique gathering activity for the extended Market Square family. Current and new opportunities will be explored to keep us all busy in mission and fellowship.
