The Adult Forum meets Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in Geneva Hall on the Fourth Floor. Childcare is available during the Forum. A broad array of topics are presented and discussed in the Forum – biblical and theological, social justice, the arts, the life of the Christian in the world, etc. There always is time for interaction with the day’s presenter(s) and thus the Forum is a wonderful opportunity to nurture the faith Christ gives to us as we live together toward the Beloved Community. Please join us!
The first Sunday of the month we meet directly after the 11:00 a.m. worship service to share a meal and dig deeper into Scripture. This is a space to bring your questions big and small and enter into thoughtful discussion. We frequently work together to think about how the Scriptures are still relevant today. We also unpack the ways the Scriptures have been narrowly interpreted or weaponized in the past and present. Lunch and learn is all about open discussion, good food, and supportive fellowship.
